Rotary District 5440
Karen Knutson Morgan
District Governor 2025-2026
Bio: Karen joined Rotary in 1990 with the Fort Collins Rotary Club in Colorado. She served as chair of International Youth Exchange and Scholarships. Work commuting required a hiatus from membership. She rejoined Rotary in 2014 with the Fort Collins Foothills Club (CO) and has served in the roles of Board member, Club Secretary, and Club President (2020-2021).
She served as Assistant Governor in District 5440 for a year before being selected to serve as District Governor in 2025-2026. She is proud to be a Paul Harris +1 Fellow and a member of the Paul Harris Society.
Karen served as a senior executive in the credit union and health care industries with 45+ years’ experience in marketing and communications, people development, strategic planning, and operations before becoming an independent consultant.
Karen serves on the boards for SummitStone Health Partners (the community behavioral health center in her county); the Mental Health Substance Use Alliance of Larimer County; and others. Karen holds a B.A. degree from Colorado State University.
Karen is married to Dick Morgan. They have two adult children (no in-laws or “grands” yet). You’ll often find Karen swinging a golf club for fun.

Cindy Rold
District Governor 2025-2026
Cindy Rold is a member of the Rotary Club of Littleton, serving as its President in 2021-2022. She was President of the Littleton Rotary Foundation, chaired the club’s Centennial Committee celebrating its 100-year history, was Director of the International Committee, and chaired a large, successful fundraising campaign on behalf of the club to benefit Nourish Meals on Wheels. She is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow and a member of the Paul Harris Society and the Polio Plus Society. She received her Club’s Service Above Self Award in 2020.
Cindy graduated Magna Cum Laude from Carroll College (now Carroll University) in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and received her law degree from Northwestern University. In 2017, she received Carroll University’s Distinguished Alumna Award for Community Service in recognition of a lifetime of exemplary volunteerism.
Cindy worked as a senior law school administrator for 12 years, including Dean of Admissions at Duke Law and Dean of Students at the University of Denver College of Law.
She started an executive coaching business over 20 years ago and has coached high-performing professionals from 38 countries at companies such as Facebook, Hampton, and KPMG. She is also a photo coach, helping individuals and families share and preserve their photos and documents for now and for generations to come.
An avid traveler, she has visited over 65 countries (including the USSR twice) and had traveled to all 50 states before she was 30. She is a proud aunt to 9 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews.

Maile S. Foster, CFP ®
District Governor 2025-2026
BIO: Maile Foster has been a Rotarian since 2007, when she joined the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. Maile served as club president, foundation chair, secretary, treasurer, and chair of the club’s major fundraising event, prior to serving District 5470 as an assistant governor.
Maile grew up in Navy towns on both coasts and was an English major at UCLA. Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been Maile’s home for 25 years, where she is owner of a financial planning and investment management practice. Prior to starting her practice, Maile enjoyed a 20-year career at IBM. Her son and two granddaughters, love to visit her in Colorado.
Being an influence for good in the world is her mission and, through Rotary, Maile feels her small contribution is multiplied many times over.
